About the Author
Julia T. Wood is the Lineberger Distinguished Professor of Humanities Emerita at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She joined the university at the age of 24. While on the faculty, she was named the Lineberger Distinguished Professor of Humanities and the Caroline H. and Thomas S. Royster Distinguished Professor of Graduate Education. The author of 17 books, she has edited 10 other books, published more than 100 articles and book chapters and presented numerous papers at professional conferences. In addition, her honors include 12 awards for undergraduate teaching and 15 awards for her scholarship.

Intriguing!

Very interesting text book! This book doesn't provide the information in an overcomplicated or boring manner, but instead cuts right to the interesting facts and ideas about gender studies.
Reading this text book will provide you with bountiful insight as to why men and women do the things they do, and how there is no singular, definitive answer to that question.
One part that I appreciate about the text book is the inclusion of quotes from sources (usually young adults) outside of the author which described their own personal experiences and understandings of the theories of gender studies.

Seller was great, product arrived on time. Item was described as used-very good. It doesn't have highlighting which I liked, however the corner of the book was sbent and there were multiple stickers on the back
