Most comprehensive book on ice diving in publication

The best text on the preperation, approach and theory relative to ice diving I have read. The author has extensive knowledge and experiance and presents the information in a logical sequence. It is too bad the various diving agencies do not use this book for ice diving classes. The information within the book should be well digested by anyone wishing to take up ice diving and those teaching ice diving will be surprised by how much there is to yet learn about it. Even if one never takes up ice diving, the information presented in this book will make for a safer, more knowledgable and better prepared diver, regardless of the environment.

A must read for anyone interested in any type of ice diving!

Great book. Should be required reading for anyone interested in ice diving or wanting to take an ice diving course (even just a recreational course). No other ice diving book out there covers the details as needed like this one does. It;s a long book, but worth the time to read. He exaplains WHY you should do things a certain why, not just to do them.
