About the Author
TERRY PRATCHETT was the acclaimed creator of the global bestselling Discworld series, the first of which, The Colour of Magic, was published in 1983. His books have been widely adapted for stage and screen, and he was the winner of multiple prizes, including the Carnegie Medal, as well as being awarded a knighthood for services to literature. One last time on the Chalk

While not as good as some of the Disk World novels I think due to the authors circumstances some slack must be given. It was great to revisit the Chalk and all of our favourite characters one last time. The gems of humour are still there along with the laugh out loud unexpected twists and turns of phase. Nanny Ogg et al will be sorely missed. RIP Terry

If you are a true Terry Pratchett fan you might want to give this one a miss...
Nothing like his usual brilliant self. This reads as if it was written by somebody who has never read Mr. Pratchett's books.

Not his usual lightness of touch, but his last book when he knew he had limited time. I read it because I've really enjoyed the series and I knew it was the end, but ultimately very unsatisfying
