good book for beginers,technicians with a couple years of practice can also find some valuable info.

I don't live in USA and I have ordered a new book that has been shipped abroad.It was a quite long journey for the book so I thought a book will be wrapped and packaged very well just in case of any damage can happen.It was not.I got the book with damaged cover and corners.Paperback book was packaged just in simple soft envelope with som thin layer of plastic foil with air bubbles.In addition it should be wrapped around some stiff and rigid cardboard or something to protect corners.That's why I put 4 stars,contents of this book is worth 5 stars.Maybe one day it will appear new edition of this book for advanced industrial electrical control circuits troubleshooting.

Nicholas Medtner (1880-1951) has always been a neglected figure in the history of Russian music, and yet his friend Rachmaninoff considered him the greatest of contemporary composers. He wrote three fine piano concertos, more than one hundred solo piano compositions, including a cycle of fourteen sonatas fully worthy to be set alongside those of Scriabin and Prokofiev, and many beautiful songs. He was also a great pianist. Leaving Russia after the Bolshevik Revolution, Medtner lived for a time in Germany and France before finally settling in London, where he passed the final sixteen years of his life. The present work is the first to tell the full story of his eventful life and to consider in turn each of his compositions. The author has drawn on Medtner’s own correspondence and writings and collected the reminiscences of those who knew him personally to build a comprehensive picture of a great, if still largely unrecognised, musician.

The basic book on Nicolas Medtner

There has been a mini renaissance of the works of Medtner in the last 20 years. One can now actually find recordings of all of this master's piano music (most in multiple recordings), his chamber works, and his three piano concerti. Medtner's songs are less-well represented, and cry out for a definitive recording (a recent CD of a handful of songs with singers Vassily Savenko and Iana Ivanilova, and pianist Boris Berezovsky is so wonderful that I nominate them to record every song.) All of Medtner's scores are now fairly easily available as well.

Barrie Martyn's book on Medtner, while pricey, is still in print. It is the basic text in English on the composer. The many musical examples in the text call out for foreknowledge of the music, or CD's ready at hand to illustrate Martyn's points. The biographical details are many and fascinating.

Recommended to all lovers of this composer.

The excellent writer Maria Monroe dropped this book without fanfare and I knew that I had to read it. She told me that it was "porny" (as if that would turn me off of a book). Other than that, I went in without knowing much about it.

It's a spanking book. I don't know that I've ever read a spanking book. (I mean if you check out my Goodreads list, yeah, obviously it's happened in books I've read, but a book where that's the central issue? No.)

So. Bella's a dog walker. She gets hired by Kane, the hot guy down the street in the mansion--the one with the brooding eyes and the "is he gay?" guy buddy--to walk his dog and watch his house.

But she's to stay out of his office.

Curiosity gets the better of her and she finds herself drinking fancy irreplaceable whiskey and watching his homemade porn in there. Cue disaster. Cue him finding out.

Cue bargain. Huge check for the down payment of her grandmother's house (because that's how expensive the damage was she created) or five spanking sessions? (By the way, the bargain was her idea not his.)

She picks spanking.

This book is hot and naughty, well-written and sexy, fun but with an emotional punch. And yes, porny.

I adore Maria's writing, I'll read anything she writes. I think you should, too.

This is a new author for me and I have to say I loved this book! I got drawn in by the characters and their story and I couldn't put it down. The relationship that develops between Bella and Kane is smoking hot, heartbreaking at moments, and oh, so good! I would love to see Charlie get his own story, he was so sweet! I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy.

I was a bit reluctant to pay $4.95 for a 130 page book. (I try to abide by my penny a page rule). I threw all caution to be the wind, bite the bullet and downloaded it. I am so glad I did. Kane and Bella rock as a couple. The set up is perfect! The punishments were Hot and the Sex was even Hotter!!! The book was the perfect length to tell the story. Read with a huge pinch of salt

I agree with all 1 star comments, this book is the right book for you if you would like to stay at home (pretty much) all day from day one of your baby's life and if you would like to not respond to your maternal instincts. Total anxiety inducer for me. I felt like a failure not being able to make my baby follow these routines.
Some of the suggestions are utterly unreasonable such as the baby should entertain himself for 1.5 hrs on the mat and baby should be woken up from his nap as well as baby should nap 45 minutes. There are many more.
I am completely for routines but within realistic and reasonable boundaries.

This book was recommended to us by many friends who already have children. However, we were disappointed by it. The advice in the book did not suit our personalities and felt too rigid. We believe in having a schedule for our baby, but this was probably too rigid for us and too structured. In the end, we did not really follow what the book advised. However, each parent has to read this for themselves to see if it's for them.

The only book that we used

As a first time mom, I had no idea what I was doing. Do any of us? They say babies don't come with a how to guide, but this book sure made it easier. We followed the schedules and by month 3 our babe was following it like a little clock. By month 5 she slept all the way through the night. A child who's sleep schedule was 100% backwards when we brought her home from day one. Slept all day, up all night. This book saved our sanity. It's nice that there are tips for both breastfeeding and formula feeding mamas alike. Explains when to introduce solids. Gives tips about sleep issues and cranky babies. Love it, still referring to it for my now 9 kobold daughter (who sleeps 12 to 14 hrs per night And takes 2 naps during the day) just sayin.

Great Stuff!

I loved and enjoyed reading this short story by Stephanie Brother. It kept me engrossed from the very beginning. I absolutely loved the intensity between Josh and Cindy. The whole story concept was amazing. I never wanted it to end. I loved it so much. Future readers, you should definitely give this book a try. You will not regret it.
